169.

It shall be unlawful to kill wild waterfowl on the Flats in excess of
the bag limit [allowed by the laws] prescribed by the Commission.
Any officer charged with the duty of enforcing the law shall have
free access to all gunning rigs and any gunning rigs that shall have
on board more than the prescribed bag limit shall be removed at once
from the Flats and not allowed to return during three gunning days
and the gunners shall be subjected to such additional fines and penal-
ties as are hereinafter set forth or otherwise provided by law.

It shall be unlawful for any gunning rig in any one day to kill or
have in possession more than the bag limit prescribed by [law] the
Commission
for four hunters.

178.

(a) [No person may hunt any raccoon or opossum except after
sunset and before sunrise of any day between September 15 and the
next succeeding January 31, inclusive.] The open season for raccoon
and opossum shall be set by regulation of the Commission under the
authority of Section 115 of this article.
No person shall hunt any
raccoon or opossum between sunrise and midnight Sunday. No per-
son shall cut a tree for the purpose of catching, killing, or dislodging
a raccoon or opossum without the consent of the owner of such tree.
No person may at any time set or otherwise use any steel trap or
other similar device to catch any raccoon or opossum; except that
the landowner or his agent may at any time set or otherwise use steel
traps or other similar devices to catch raccoons or opossums which
are damaging property.

of this article [within the prescribed dates listed below]. The Game
and Inland Fish
Commission shall adopt and publish seasons on game
and fresh water fish annually on or before October 25 for the ensuing
calendar year.
