AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 132 (E) OF ARTICLE 66C OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1957 EDITION), TITLE
"NATURAL RESOURCES", SUB-TITLE "BIRDS, GAME AND
INLAND WATER FISH", SUB-HEADING "UPLAND AND
MIGRATORY GAME BIRDS AND GAME ANIMALS", AND TO
REPEAL AND RE-ENACT, WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTIONS
132 (A) AND (D), 133, 163, 167 (B), 169 AND 178 (A) OF THE
SAID ARTICLE AND SUB-TITLE OF THE CODE (1957 EDITION
AND 1960 SUPPLEMENT), SUB-HEADINGS, RESPECTIVELY
"UPLAND AND MIGRATORY GAME BIRDS AND GAME
ANIMALS", "WATERFOWL AND MIGRATORY BIRDS", "SUS-
QUEHANNA FLATS" AND "RACCOON, OPOSSUM AND
SKUNKS", REVISING THE BIRD AND GAME LAWS OF THE
STATE WITH RESPECT TO THE POWERS OF THE GAME
AND INLAND FISH COMMISSION, AND TO SEASONS AND
BAG LIMITS AND THE TIMES FOR HUNTING OR TAKING
BIRDS AND GAME IN THE STATE.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 132 (e) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title ''Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-heading "Upland and Migratory
Game Birds and Game Animals", be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 115 (a), 132 (a)

and (d) 133, 163, 167 (b), 169, 178, 207 and 210 of the said Article
and sub title of the Code
(1957 Edition and 1960 Supplement), sub-
headings, respectively, "Commission", "Upland and Migratory Game
Birds and Gam
e Animals", "Waterfowl and Migratory Birds", Sus-
quehanna Flats", "Raccoon, Opossum and Skunks", and "Game and
Fresh Water FishRegulations for Taking in Nontidal Waters",

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT SEC-
TIONS 132 (A) AND (D), 133, 163, 167 (B), 169 AND 178 (A) OF
THE SAID ARTICLE AND SUB-TITLE OF THE CODE (1957
EDITION AND 1960 SUPPLEMENT), SUB-HEADINGS, RE-
SPECTIVELY "UPLAND AND MIGRATORY GAME BIRDS AND
GAME ANIMALS", "WATERFOWL AND MIGRATORY BIRDS",
"SUSQUEHANNA FLATS" AND "RACCOON, OPOSSUM AND
SKUNKS" be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

115.

(a) Having a due regard for the distribution, abundance, eco-
nomic value and breeding habits of wild birds, wild animals, and fish,
in inland waters, the Commission is hereby vested with the necessary
power and authority to determine when, to what extent, if at all, and

by what means it is desirable to enlarge, extend, restrict or prohibit
in any degree the provisions of law obtaining in this State for the

hunting, taking, capture, killing, possession, sale, purchase, shipment,
transportation, carriage or export of any wild bird, wild
animal, or
fish from inland waters and may adopt regulations for such purpose.
[Any such rule or regulation concerning or affecting the subject
matter of Sections 132, 133, 207 and 210 of this article shall be effec
