land (1957 Edition), as amended from time to time, all fees, costs,
fines and penalties imposed and collected by the Justices of the Peace
designated as Trial Magistrates in Talbot County shall be collected
for the use of the County Commissioners of Talbot County and paid
over to said County Commissioners of Talbot County monthly.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8-11 of
the Frederick County Code—1959, being Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County", sub-
title "Part I. General Local Laws", sub-heading "Finance and
Taxation", regarding discount of Frederick County taxes paid on
or before the last day of December.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 8-11 of the Frederick County Code—1959, being Article
11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick
County", sub-title "Part I. General Local Laws", sub-heading "Fi-
nance and Taxation", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
8-11.
The County Commissioners are authorized and empowered, in
their discretion, to allow a discount not exceeding five per cent upon
all county taxes paid on or before the [first day of July] last day of
December in each year after the date of their levy and to provide in
their county levy for such discount.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.
