county shall fix and determine the salaries of each of the members
of said board of license commissioners in such amounts as it deems
reasonable and proper.] the salaries of the members of the board of
license commissioners shall be as determined from time to time by
"Baltimore County, Maryland", in such amounts as are deemed rea-
sonable and proper; but the annual salary of the chairman shall be
not less than forty-seven hundred and fifty dollars ($4,750.00) and
the annual salary of each of the associate members shall be not less
than forty-two hundred and fifty dollars ($4,250.00).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 388
(Senate Bill 330)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8 of
Article 66 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supplement),
title "Mortgages", sub-title "In General", adding Worcester Coun-
ty to the list of counties in which interest on a mortgage on real
estate is payable a specified time following the date of sale of the
real estate under the jurisdiction of the circuit court in the ap-
propriate county.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 8 of Article 66 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1960 Supplement), title "Mortgages", sub-title "In General", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

8.

In all cases of sales of real estate under the authority or juris-
diction of the circuit courts in Cecil, Frederick, Kent, Queen Anne's,
Talbot, Caroline, Worcester and Charles counties where the sale pro-
ceeds are subject to the payment of a mortgage on such real estate,
the interest provided in such mortgage shall be payable for a period
of sixty days following the date of sale or until the audit of such
sale be ratified, whichever shall first occur.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to add new Sections 269 to 272, inclusive, to Article 21 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Talbot County", to follow immediately after Section 268 thereof
