county in which the action was brought any of the matter described
in this section and such sheriff or officer shall be directed to seize and
destroy the same.

4. In any action brought 'pursuant to the provisions of this sec-
tion, the state's attorney is not required to file any bond before the
issuance of an injunction order provided for by this section, is not
liable for costs and is not liable for damages sustained by reason of
the injunction order in cases where judgment is rendered in favor
of the person, firm or corporation sought to be enjoined.

5. Every person, firm or corporation who sells, distributes or
acquires possession with intent to sell or distribute any of the matter
described in this section, after the service upon him of a summons
and complaint in an action brought by the state's attorney of the
county or Baltimore City pursuant to this section is chargeable with
knowledge of the contents thereof.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 383
(Senate Bill 306)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 132 (j)
and 181 (c) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Birds, Game
and Inland Water Fish", sub-headings "Upland and Migratory
Game Birds and Game Animals" and "Raising Game in Captivity",
relating to the fees for license to shoot on regulated bird shooting
grounds, and for game breeder's license in this State.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 132 (j) and 181 (c) of Article 66C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-
title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-headings "Upland
and Migratory Game Birds and Game Animals" and "Raising Game
in Captivity", be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

132.

(j) It shall be unlawful for any person, except when such person
holds a valid game breeder's license for fiscal year, to sell, offer for
sale, purchase, or offer to purchase, barter, exchange, or buy at any
time within the State of Maryland any game bird or game animal
of any species (except muskrat) whether same has been caught or
killed within the State of Maryland or in any other state, territory,
or country, except live game may be purchased and kept in captivity
for propagation purposes only upon securing a permit from the
Director, and the payment of [one dollar ($1.00) for the first year
and a fee of fifty cents (50c) for the renewal of said permit for each
year thereafter] two dollars ($2.00). Said permit shall expire on
December 31 of each year.
