AN ACT TO ADD A NEW SECTION 132 (A-l) TO ARTICLE 66C
OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1957 EDITION
AND 1960 SUPPLEMENT), TITLE "NATURAL RESOURCES",
SUB-TITLE "BIRDS, GAME AND INLAND WATER FISH",
SUB-HEADING "UPLAND AND MIGRATORY GAME BIRDS
AND GAME ANIMALS", TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER
SECTION 132 (A) THEREOF, PROVIDING THAT IN DOR-
CHESTER COUNTY , ST. MARY'S, SOMERSET, WICOMICO
AND WORCESTER COUNTIES THERE SHALL BE A THREE-
DAY OPEN SEASON FOR THE HUNTING OF ANTLERLESS
DEER, AND RELATING GENERALLY TO THE TIME FOR
AND THE CONDITIONS OF THIS OPEN SEASON IN DOR-
CHESTER COUNTY. , ST. MARY'S, SOMERSET, WICOMICO
AND WORCESTER COUNTIES.

Dear Mr. President:
I have today vetoed Senate Bill No. 214 and in accordance with
the provisions of Article 2, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution,
I am returning this bill to you along with my veto message.
This particular bill was designed to permit an additional three-day
open season for the hunting of antlerless deer in five counties in our
State.
House Bill No. 408, which, among other things, accomplishes this
same result, was signed into law on April 24, 1961.
Senate Bill No. 214—Hunting of Antlerless Deer
AN ACT to repeal and re enact, with amendments, Section 132 (a)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1960 Supple-
ment), title "Natural Resources", sub title "Birds, Game and In-
land Water Fish", sub heading "Upland and Migratory Game
Birds and Game Animals", providing that in Dorchester County
there shall be a three-day open season for the hunting of antler-
less deer and relating generally to the time for and the conditions
of this open season.
