(c) Allowances for dependents.—[An individual receiving weekly
benefit payments under this section shall, during the period he re-
ceives such payments, be paid a weekly allowance for a dependent
child or children under the age of sixteen (16) years in the amount
shown in column (D), (E), (F), or (G), depending on the number
of such dependent children, on the "schedule of benefits" set forth
in sub-section (b) of this section.

Provided, however, that only one spouse shall receive allowance
for dependents under the provisions of this sub-section in any par-
ticular week, and provided, that during each benefit year said in-
dividual receiving benefit payments shall be entitled to receive allow-
ances for a dependent child or children, for which he or she qualifies,
for no more than twenty-six weeks.]

Moneys paid as allowances for dependents shall not be charged
against the experience rating account of any employer.] Each in-
dividual who is eligible to receive benefits for unemployment with
respect to any week shall be paid with respect to such week an allow-
