CHAPTER 864
(House Bill 655)

AN ACT to repeal Section 34 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "Circuit
Court", sub-heading "Speedy Judgment Act", and to repeal the
sub-heading "Speedy Judgment Act", to repeal obsolete provisions
in Charles County authorizing a speedy judgment procedure in the
Circuit court of the county.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 34 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles County
(1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-
heading "Speedy Judgment Act", be and it is hereby repealed; and
that the sub-heading "Speedy Judgment Act" be and it is hereby re-
pealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

(House Bill 726)

AN ACT to repeal Section 266 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "Wash-
ington, Brandywine and Point Lookout Railroad Company", and to
repeal the sub-title "Washington, Brandywine and Point Lookout
Railroad Company", to repeal an obsolete local law in Charles
County authorizing a tax exemption for a railroad company therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 266 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles County
(1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "Washington, Brandy-
wine and Point Lookout Railroad Company", be and it is hereby re-
pealed; and that sub-title "Washington, Brandywine and Point Look-
out Railroad Company", be and it is hereby repealed.
