AN ACT to repeal Sections 96 and 97 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title
"Election Officials", and to repeal the sub-title "Election Officials",
to repeal obsolete provisions in the local laws of Charles County
fixing salaries for election officials in the county.

Whereas, Sections 96 and 97 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Charles County fix salaries of judges and clerks of election, and of
the Board of Supervisors of Elections and its clerk, all of which
are now fixed in Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Public General
Laws and it is desirable to repeal these obsolete provisions, now
therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 96 and 97 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Charles
County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title "Election Offi-
cials", be and they are hereby repealed and that the sub-title "Election
Officials" be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

AN ACT to add new Section 32 (a-1) to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles County", sub-title
"Circuit Court", sub-heading "Stenographer", to follow immedi-
ately after Section 32 (a) thereof, and to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Section 32 (b) of the said Code, to authorize the
appointment of an additional court reporter for the Circuit Court
of Charles County and to fix the manner of payment and amount
of his salary, and to authorize additional duties for the court
reporters for the said Circuit Court.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 32 (a-1) be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Charles County (1959 Edition, being Article 9
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Charles
County", sub-title "Circuit Court", sub-heading "Stenographer", to
follow immediately after Section 32 (a) thereof, and Section 32 (b)
