Section 82A was enacted by Chapter 489 of 1959, and to read as
follows:

82B. The County Commissioners of Allegany County may appro-
priate annually for the Miners Hospital in Frostburg a sum not to
exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) in any year.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 133
(Senate Bill 210)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 23 of
Article 78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Public Works", sub-title "Department of Improvements",
amending the law concerning the appointment of the Board of
Architectural Review in order to provide that this Board shall be
appointed from lists of names submitted by the Baltimore Chapter
and by the Potomac VALLEY OF MARYLAND Chapter of the
American Institute of Architects.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 23 of Article 78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Public Works", sub-title "Department of Im-
provements", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

23. Board of Architectural Review.

There is hereby established a Board of Architectural Review,
which shall be composed of seven members to be appointed by the
Director from a list of not less than [ten] five names to be submitted
by the Baltimore Chapter of the American Institute of Architects,
and from a list of not less than five names to be submitted by the
Potomac
VALLEY OF MARYLAND Chapter of the American Insti-
tute of Architects.
The terms of the members first appointed shall
be two years and thereafter the terms shall be four years. It shall
be the duty of the Director to refer all major and important archi-
tectural problems and plans concerning the construction, reconstruc-
tion and repair of State buildings to the Board of Architectural
Review, and it shall also be the duty of said Director and staff to
consult the members of said Board in connection with the State
building program. The members of said Board shall serve without
compensation but shall be reimbursed for any traveling or other
expenses in the performance of their duties under this section.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1961.
