provided herein shall first make application to the Board of County
Commissioners of Somerset County or their designated agent, in
writing, setting forth thereon his, her or their name, age, place of
residence, total gross income from all sources for the next preceding
calendar year, total consecutive years of residence in said Somerset
County immediately preceding the date of said application, and the
source of ownership of the residential property sought to be taxed
as herein provided. Said application shall be accompanied by an
affidavit of the person making said applications certifying to the
truth of the applicant's
APPLICATION'S content, and said applica-
tion shall be submitted to the said County Commissioners or their
designated agent at least twenty-one (21) calendar days before the
date of finality for real property ownership in Somerset County of the
year for which said reduction of assessment, if granted hereunder,
would apply. Thereupon, said County Commissioners or their desig-
nated agent shall read and consider each of said applications and
shall approve or disapprove same prior to said date of finality.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 703

(House Bill 258)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 63 (c)
and 158 (d) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", subtitles respectively
"Procedure for Issue of Licenses" and "Boards of License Com-
missioners", relating to the disposition of alcoholic beverage license
fees and to the number and salaries of alcoholic beverage inspectors
in Anne Arundel County, and correcting errors therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 63 (c) and 158 (d) of Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-
titles respectively "Procedure for Issue of Licenses" and "Boards of
License Commissioners", be and they are hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

63.

(c) Anne Arundel County.—In Anne Arundel County, the clerk
of the Circuit Court for said county shall forthwith remit to the
City of Annapolis, all license fees collected by him where the place
of business is located in said city, and to the Board of County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel County if the place of business is located
outside of the City of Annapolis, less the fee of one dollar ($1.00)
for the issuance of each license. The Board of County Commis-
