provisions concerning the duty of the sheriff to convey prisoners out-
side the county; and

Whereas, In Section 294F, also enacted by Chapter 274 of 1933,
there is an obsolete requirement concerning the sheriff's office in the
Court House; and

Whereas, Both these obsolete provisions should be changed; now,
therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 294B of Article 24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Worcester County", sub-title "Sher-
iff", as enacted by Chapter 274 of the Acts of 1933, be and it is hereby
repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 294F of said
article and sub-title, as enacted by Chapter 274 of the Acts of 1933,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

294F. The County Commissioners shall furnish said Sheriff an
office [in the Court House] in Snow Hill where either he or one of
his deputies shall visit daily except Sundays.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1961.

CHAPTER 128
(Senate Bill 185)

AN ACT to add a new Section 63A(d) to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Allegany County (1955 Edition), being Article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County",
sub-title "Classified Service", to follow immediately after Section
63A(c) thereof as said section was amended by Chapter 440 of
the Acts of 1957 adding to the Classified Service in Allegany
County certain registrars and voting machine custodians in the
office of the Board of Supervisors of Elections of Allegany County,
and providing for the manner of their inclusion in the Classified
Service.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 63A (d) be and the same is hereby added to the
Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County (1955 Edition), being
Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Alle-
gany County", sub-title "Classified Service", to follow immediately
after Section 63A(c) thereof as said section was amended by Chap-
ter 440 of the Acts of 1957, and to read as follows:

63A.

(d) The positions of permanent Democratic registrar and perma-
nent Republican registrar and Democratic and Republican voting
