company, which constitute a data processing and accounting system
if the cost of such system is at least twenty-five thousand dollars
($25, 000), which cost shall be amortized in full over a period not to
exceed ten (10) calendar years.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1962.

(Senate Bill 43)
AN ACT to add new Section 88 (e) to Article 78 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1961 Supplement), title
"Public Service Commission Law", sub-title "Procedure Before the
Commission", to follow immediately after Section 88 (d) thereof,
relating to the use of certain testing equipment by the Public
Service Commission of Maryland for calibrating master electric
meters, and fixing the fees for the use of such equipment.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 88 (e) be and it is hereby added to Article 78 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1961 Supple-
ment), title "Public Service Commission Law", sub-title "Procedure
Before the Commission", to follow immediately after Section 88 (d)
thereof, and to read as follows:
88 (e).
The Commission shall maintain testing equipment for the purpose
of calibrating master standard watthour meters used by public service
companies furnishing electricity. Such companies using this service
shall pay to the Commission a fee of five dollars ($5. 00) per test
point, with a minimum charge of forty dollars ($40. 00) per master
standard watthour meter.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1962.
