£64 262. Fallout Shelters

In addition to any other requirement of law, no contractor shall
construct, repair or remodel any fallout shelter, unless the work
conforms to such minimum applicable standards of protection to
persons using the shelter as may be promulgated by the State Office
of Civil Defense.

265 263. Compensation of Other Than Licensee Prohibited

No contractor shall pay, credit, or allow any consideration or
compensation of any kind to any other contractor or salesman other
than a licensee for or on account of the performance of home im-
provement work or services, except where the person or transaction
to or for whom the consideration is to be paid is not subject to or
is exempted from the licensing requirements of this subtitle; pro-
vided that after termination, revocation or suspension of a license,
the licensee shall not be relieved of outstanding obligations and
shall be authorized to complete and be paid upon contracts made
but not performed at the effective date of the termination, revoca-
tion or suspension.

inducement to enter a home improvement contract.

(c) A contractor or salesman may give tangible items to prospec-
tive customers for advertising or sales promotion purposes where
the gift is not conditioned upon obtaining a contract for home im-
provement work; provided no such item shall exceed a cost value
of $2.50 and no owner and/or other person shall receive more than
one such item in connection with any one transaction.
