COURT WHO RECEIVES SUPPLEMENTATION FROM A
POLITICAL SUBDIVISION. IN SUCH EVENT, THE JUDGE
SHALL BE PAID ANNUALLY BY THE STATE AN AMOUNT
COMPUTED BY SUBTRACTING FROM THE SUM OF TWENTY
THOUSAND ($20, 000. ) DOLLARS, A SUM EQUAL TO THE
ANNUAL SUPPLEMENTATION; AND THE AMOUNT SUB-
TRACTED FROM THE STATE'S PAYMENT TO THE JUDGE
SHALL BE PAID BY THE COMPTROLLER TO THE PARTIC-
ULAR POLITICAL SUBDIVISION WHICH PAYS SUCH JUDGE
THE SUPPLEMENTATION; PROVIDED THAT THERE SHALL
BE NO REDUCTION IN THE TOTAL COMPENSATION PAID
ANY JUDGE.

(C-2) PAYMENTS MADE BY THE STATE TO A POLITICAL
SUBDIVISION OR SUBDIVISIONS, AND/OR A JUDGE UNDER
SUBSECTION (C-1), SHALL NOT EXCEED FOR ANY ONE
JUDGE THE SUM OF TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
($20, 000. ) ANNUALLY. IF A JUDGE RECEIVES SUPPLEMEN-
TATION FROM TWO OR MORE POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS,
AND THE AGGREGATE SUPPLEMENTATION EXCEEDS
TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20, 000. ) ANNUALLY, THE
PAYMENTS MADE BY THE STATE TO THE POLITICAL SUB-
DIVISIONS SHALL BE DIVIDED BETWEEN OR AMONG THEM
IN RATIO TO THE AMOUNT OF SUPPLEMENTATION PAID
BY EACH.

(C-3) A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION SHALL NOT PROVIDE
SUPPLEMENTATION IN SUCH AN AMOUNT THAT THE SAL-
ARY SPECIFIED IN SUBSECTION (B) PLUS THE AMOUNT
OF THE SUPPLEMENTATION WOULD EXCEED IN THE
AGGREGATE THE SUM OF TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($23, 000. ) PER ANNUM.

SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT ALL LAWS
OR PARTS OF LAWS INCONSISTENT WITH THE PROVISIONS
OF THIS ACT ARE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF THE IN-
CONSISTENCY.

SEC. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS ACT
SHALL TAKE EFFECT JULY 1, 1962.
