CHAPTER 115
(House Bill 194)

AN ACT to add new Section 78A to Article 41 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Governor-Executive and
Administrative Departments", sub-title "The Executive Depart-
ment", to follow immediately after Section 78 thereof, and to be
under the new sub-heading "Law Day U. S. A. ", to require
proclamation of May 1 of every year as Law Day U. S. A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 78A be and it is hereby added to Article 41 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Governor-Execu-
tive and Administrative Departments", sub-title "The Executive
Department", to follow immediately after Section 78 thereof, to
be under the new sub-heading "Law Day U. S. A. ", and to read as
follows:

78A. The Governor shall proclaim and set aside in each year the
day of May 1 as Law Day U. S. A.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1962.

CHAPTER 116
(House Bill 200)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5 (F)
of Chapter 885 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1961,
amending the so-called bond construction bill of 1961 in order
to amend the purposes for the acquisition of land in the Catoctin
Watershed Conservation Area.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5 (F) of Chapter 885 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of 1961, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
