79 of this Code, to whom [the said trust moneys, properties and
effects of the cestui que trust or lunatic shall or may have been paid
over, assigned or] property is transferred £in virtue of the] pursuant
to a court order or decree [of the said Circuit Court or Circuit Court
No. 2 of Baltimore City, or of any other court of competent jurisdic-
tion in this State, or any judge thereof, ] under Maryland Rule V80,
shall be a good and sufficient release to the [trustee or committee]
fiduciary [so paying over, ] transferring [or assigning said trust
moneys, properties and effects of said trust estate. ] such property.
SEC. 14. And be it further enacted, That Section 123 of Article 16
of the Code, title "Chancery", sub-title "Jurisdiction", be and it is
hereby repealed and that a new Section 123 be and it is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the Section repealed
and to read as follows:
123. When the name of a person is changed by a court proceeding,
the true and legal name of the person shall be that determined by
the order of the court. A copy of said order, under the seal of the
court, shall be sufficient and legal evidence of the facts therein stated.
SEC. 15. And be it further enacted, That Sections 149, 150 and
151 of Article 16 of the Code, title "Chancery", sub-title "Conserv-
ators" be and they are hereby repealed and that new Sections 149,
150 and 151 be and they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand
in the place of the Sections so repealed and to read as follows:
149.
A court of equity shall have the power to appoint a conservator
for all or any part of the property of an adult person residing in
or having property in the State of Maryland who is unable, by reason
of advanced age, mental weakness (not amounting to unsoundness of
mind), or physical incapacity, properly to care for his property.
150.
A conservator shall have control, charge and management 0f the
estate, real and personal, of the person for whom he has been
appointed conservator, sub feet to the direction of the court which
appointed him, and shall have the power to collect all debts due
such person, and upon authority of such court, to adjust and settle
all accounts owing by him and to sue and be sued in his represent-
ative capacity. He shall apply such part of the principal of the
estate of such person as the court may authorize to the support of
such person and the maintenance and education of his family and
children.
151.
The court, in its discretion, may at any time order that the con-
servator or some other person shall be responsible for the personal
welfare of the person whose property is under conservatorship.
SEC. 16. And be it further enacted, That Sections 175 and 184 of
Article 16 of the Code, title "Chancery", sub-title "Trustee" be and
they are hereby repealed and that new Sections 175 and 184 be and
they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the
Sections repealed and to read as follows:
