INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION
House Resolution No. 7—By the Montgomery County Delegation:
House Resolution expressing deepest regrets over the passing of
Mrs. Myra Austin, the wife of the Honorable F. Byrne Austin of
Montgomery County.
The members of the House of Delegates of Maryland have learned
with much regret of the sudden passing of Mrs. Myra Austin, the
wife of the Honorable F. Byrne Austin of Montgomery County. Mr.
Austin is well known to many members of the House of Delegates
as he served as Chief Clerk in this body some years ago.
Mrs. Austin was active in political and civic affairs in Montgomery
County. In her passing, Montgomery County and the State of
Maryland have lost an outstanding wife and mother, a gracious
friend, and a person who endeared herself to a wide circle of friends;
now, therefore be it
Resolved by the House of Delegates of Maryland, That the sincere
regrets of this body be expressed over the sudden passing of Mrs.
Myra Austin of Montgomery County, the wife of the Honorable F.
Byrne Austin, former Chief Clerk of this House; and be it further
Resolved, That the Chief Clerk of the House be instructed to send
a copy of this Resolution to Mr. F. Byrne Austin, and his three
children, at 7419 Maple Avenue, Takoma Park.
Which was read and adopted.
