Amendment No. 5—In line 14 of Section 2 on page 3 of the printed
bill, strike out the numerals "16" and insert in lieu thereof the numerals

Amendment No. 6—In line 75 of Section 5 on page 2 of the printed
bill, immediately following the numerals "1966" insert the following:
"and the year 1970".

Mr. Cannon, duly seconded, moved to lay over Amendment 6 to
House Bill No. 2 for one hour.

Amendment No. 1—In line 1 of the title and in line 4 of Section 1
on page 1 of the printed bill, strike out in each instance the following:
"Section 5" and insert in lieu thereof in each instance the following:
"Sections 5, 6, and 9".

Amendment No. 2—In line 5 of the title of the printed bill imme-
diately following the comma, insert the following: "making provision
for the nomination and election of certain candidates for office in the
House of Delegates, providing for the creation of sub-districts in certain
counties and legislative districts".

Amendment No. 3—In line 18 of Section 5 on page 1 of the printed
bill, strike out the following: "twenty-three" and insert in lieu thereof
