levy a special assessment to be known as a drainage system assessment
to be imposed on benefited property within the Patapsco Drainage Area
and to levy a special ad valorem tax within the Patapsco Drainage Area,
the proceeds of such drainage system assessment and special ad valorem
tax to be together the primary source for the payment of the principal
of and interest on bonds issued pursuant to said Chapter; empowering
and directing said County Commissioners to contract to levy and to
levy, impose and collect annually ad valorem taxes on all the assessable
property within Anne Arundel County which, in addition to the State
and Federal allotments, if any, the drainage system assessments and
the special ad valorem taxes, will provide funds sufficient for the pay-
ment of said maturing principal and interest; exempting said bonds and
said refunding bonds and the interest thereon from all State, county
and municipal taxation in the State of Maryland; authorizing the County
Commissioners to reimburse, from proceeds of the sale of bonds, the
general funds and surplus funds of Anne Arundel County for any monies
advanced in connection with the planning and design of storm water
or surface water drainage systems within the Patapsco Drainage Area
and relating generally to the planning, design, financing and construc-
tion of storm water and surface water drainage systems in Anne Arundel
County. "

House Bill No. 15—By The Somerset County Delegation:
A Bill entitled "An Act to add new Section 48B to Article 20 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, (1930 Edition), title 'Somer-
set County, ' sub-title 'County Commissioners, ' to follow immediately
after Section 48A thereof, which section was last amended by Chapter
527 of the Acts of 1959, to provide for annual payments by the County
Commissioners of Somerset County to the Edward W. McCready Me-
morial Hospital for the cost of medical care at the hospital for indigent
persons, and relating generally to such payments. "
