House Bill No. 17—By Talbot, Kent and Dorchester County Delegations:

A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments^
Section 577 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1961
Supplement), title 'Crimes and Punishments', sub-title 'Trespass', to
change the penalty for the offense of wanton trespass on the private
property of another person in certain counties. "

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Rules.

House Bill No. 18—By The Montgomery County Delegation:

A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
sub-section (d) of Section 98, title 'Judges of People's Court of Montgomery
County—Appointment; qualifications; terms; vacancies; practice of law;
removal', and subsection (q) of Section 119, title 'Substitute magistrates',
of Article 52, title 'Justices of the Peace', of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition and 1961 Supplement), to provide for the appoint-
ment of an additional substitute judge for the People's Court for Mont-
gomery County. "

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on Rules.

House Bill No. 19—By Washington County Delegation:

A Bill entitled "An Act to add an additional section to Chapter
905 of the Laws of Maryland of 1961 relating to the construction of
new office facilities by the County Commissioners of Washington County
and the borrowing of $1, 000, 000 therefor, said additional section amend-
ing said Chapter 905 so as to authorize the County Commissioners of
Washington County to borrow an additional $200, 000 for said purpose,
if needed, and to evidence such borrowing, as well as the borrowing
authorized by said Chapter 905, by the issuance and sale of its bonds
in such manner and upon such terms as said County Commissioners may
decide upon and to pay the principal thereof and the interest thereon
by the levy of ad valorem taxes in Washington County in rate and amount
sufficient for the purpose. "

House Bill No. 20—By The Anne Arundel County Delegation:

A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal Sections 8-1 to 8-18, inclusive, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1957 Edition,
being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
'Anne Arundel County', sub-title 'Chapter 8. Electrical Installations',
and to enact new Sections 8-1 to 8-34, inclusive, in lieu thereof, to stand
in the place of the sections repealed, to revise the laws licensing and
regulating electricians in Anne Arundel County, to establish a Board
of Electrical Examiners and Supervisors for the county, and to provide
its powers and duties, and relating to electricians in Anne Arundel
County. "

House Bill No. 21—By The Anne Arundel County Delegation:

A Bill entitled "An Act to repeal Chapter 896 of the Acts of the
