land, title 'Roads, Streets and Siidewalks', sub-title 'Distribution of State
Revenue from New Sources', changing the use and distribution of any
new state revenue allocated to Anne Arundel County so that one-eighth
of the said new revenue shall. be remitted to the City of Annapolis
for such uses as may be decided by the Mayor and Aldermen of the
City of Annapolis and the remaining seven-eighths shall be remitted to
the County for use by the County Commissioners of the seven election
districts excluding the sixth election District, provided further that each
of the seven election districts shall have the use of such funds in an
amount proportionate to their road mileage to use for any purpose. "
Mr. Delia, for the Rules Committee recommended Senate Bill No. 10
be re-referred to the Finance Committee.
Senate Bill No. 12—By Senator See:
A Bill entitled "An Act authorizing the County Commissioners of
Allegany County to convey to the Board of Education of Allegany County,
real property for the construction of a Junior High School when it
is determined that said property is no longer needed for County purposes,
except in the case of a cemetery. "
Mr. Delia, for the Rules Committee recommended Senate Bill No. 12
be re-referred to the Finance Committee.
Senate Bill No. 13—By Senator Sanford:
A Bill entitled "An Act making an emergency appropriation from the
General Surplus Fund Account of the State Treasury for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 1962, in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1, 000, 000. 00)
to be used in the discretion of the Board of Public Works for relief
required because of or the repair of damage resulting from natural
disaster; and relating generally to this appropriation and to the con-
ditions of its expenditure. "
Mr. Delia, for the Rules Committee recommended Senate Bill No. 13
be re-referred to the Finance Committee.
