CHAPTER 549
(Senate Bill 435)
AN ACT to add new Section 86A to Article 9 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Charles County",
sub-title "County Treasurer", to follow immediately after Section
86 thereof, relating to the duties of the county treasurer as con-
cerns the transfer of real property in Charles County and relating
generally to the County Treasurer of Charles County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 86A be and the same is hereby added to Article 9
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Charles County", sub-title "County Treasurer", to follow immedi-
ately after Section 86 thereof, and to read as follows:
86A. The treasurer shall record the name of the new owner of all
real property within seven working days after the receipt of notice
of transfer of real property, and all subsequent tax billings, tax sales,
etc., shall be in the name of the new owner. The County Commis-
sioners are hereby authorized to provide such additional clerical help
as may be necessary to carry out the terms of this section.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6 (27) of
the Charter of Baltimore City as contained in the 1949 Edition
of the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City, the latter
being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Baltimore City", sub-title "General Powers", sub-heading
"Sewers", authorizing the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to
make charges for the use of sewers, drains and sewage disposal
facilities.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6 (27) of the Charter of Baltimore City as contained
in the 1949 Edition of the Charter and Public Local Laws of Balti-
more City, the latter being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Baltimore City", sub-title "General Powers", sub-
heading "Sewers", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
