ies, and if it shall appear to the court that such person is the proper
person to receive such monies and is the person whom the Probation
Department was not able to identify or locate, the court by order
shall direct the county to repay said monies to such person, without
interest
(g) Upon receiving any such order, the county shall provide for
the repayment of such monies, from its general funds. No such
order for repayment may be directed to the said county after the
expiration of such further three-year period.
(h) The provisions of this section shall apply to all such monies
now in the hands of the Probation Department prior to June 1,1959,
as well as such monies received subsequent thereto.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(House Bill 81)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 233 of
Article 18, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "Fire Companies",
as amended by Chapter 229 of 1957, relating to payments by the
county to fire companies in Queen Anne's County.
Section 1. Be in enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 233 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County," sub-title
"Fire Companies," as amended by Chapter 229 of 1957, be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
233. The County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County are
authorized and directed to pay annually, on or before the 1st day of
October of each year, the sum of two thousand dollars to each of the
following named volunteer fire companies: Goodwill Fire Company,
Incorporated; The Sudlersville Fire Company, Incorporated; Church
Hill Fire Company, Incorporated; The Queenstown Volunteer Fire
Company; [and] Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., and
Grasonville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., and the sum of one thou-
sand dollars to Queen Anne-Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Company, In-
corporated, for the purchase, improvement, maintenance and opera-
tion of fire apparatus and fire equipment for the said volunteer fire
companies.
