(House Bill 341)

AN ACT to add new Section 30A to Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County",
sub-title "Circuit Court", to follow immediately after Section 30
thereof, relating to the recording of deeds to property within the
towns of Crisfield and Princess Anne by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Somerset County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 30A be and it is hereby added to Article 20 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somer-
set County", sub-title "Circuit Court", said new section to follow
immediately after Section 30 thereof, and to read as follows:

30A. No deed, conveying real estate or chattels real located within
the corporate limits of the towns of Crisfield and Princess Anne,
shall be recorded by the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset
County among the Land Records of said County until the property
thereby conveyed has been transferred on the assessment books in
the office of the City Clerk of Crisfield and of Princess Anne.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6 of
Article 62 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Marriages", providing that both contracting parties must
apply for a marriage license together in Cecil County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6 of Article 62 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Marriages", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
