section to be known as Section 230B, to follow immediately after
Section 230A of said Article, creating two additional judgeships
on the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City and providing for the
manner of filling such judgeships.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and the same is hereby added to Article 4 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City
Charter (1949 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Courts",
said new section to be known as Section 230B, to follow immediately
after Section 230A of said Article and to read as follows:
230B. In addition to the present membership of the Supreme
Bench of Baltimore City, there shall be two additional Associate
Judges of said Court. Said Associate Judges shall be selected in the
manner provided by Section 5 of Article 4 of the Constitution of this
State and thereafter such Judges shall be elected by the legal and
qualified voters of Baltimore City at the election to be held on Tues-
day next after the first Monday of November, 1960. The said Judges,
when appointed or when elected, shall be subject to all of the provi-
sions of the Constitution and laws relating to the Supreme Bench
of Baltimore City and the several Judges thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6 (33) of
the Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949
Edition), being Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Baltimore City", sub-title "General Powers",
sub-heading "Taxes", authorizing the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore to assess for tax purposes, levy and collect taxes
annually on certain real property; and to assess for tax purposes,
levy and collect taxes quarter-annually on certain other real prop-
erty, within the corporate limits of Baltimore City; correcting an
error in said section; and relating generally to the assessment,
levy and collection of taxes on real property in Baltimore City.
