plete record of such registration made by him during each day,
except the fifteen cent fee paid to him by the applicant for his
services in issuing the certificate of registration and metal plates or
markers. Each applicant for registration of a motor vehicle shall,
in addition to the registration or license fees required by this article,
pay a fee of fifteen cents for the services rendered by the county
treasurer in connection with such registration, this fee to be deducted
each week before remitting to the said Commissioner of Motor
Vehicles. Each of the county treasurers so directed to issue tags shall
first provide to the State of Maryland a bond in such form and in
such amount as prescribed by the Comptroller.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(Senate Bill 414)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 260 of
Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as
amended), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans' Court",
providing that when the assets of a decedent's estate consist only
of two motor vehicles the title to same under certain conditions,
may be transferred to the person entitled thereto and relating
generally to such transfer and refund of license fees resulting
therefrom.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 260 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition, as amended), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title
"Orphans' Court", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
260.
When the ONLY assets of a decedent's estate consist only of [a]
NOT MORE THAN two motor vehicles, the Commissioner of Motor
Vehicles may, upon proof satisfactory to him that all debts and taxes
owed by the decedent have been paid, transfer the title to such motor
vehicles to the person entitled thereto and, upon application of such
person, refund the amount of license fees for the unused portion of
the year, calculated on a semi-annual basis; and, in such case, no
administration of the decedent's estate need be had.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.
