AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 673 of
Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Health", sub-title "Sanitary Districts", allowing Garrett
County to create Sanitary Districts.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 673 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Sanitary Districts", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
673.
Nothing in this subtitle shall apply to, or be effective in the coun-
ties of Anne Arundel, Caroline, [Garrett,] Harford, Montgomery,
Prince George's, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 108(21)
of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates System",
increasing the number of trial magistrates for Washington County
and defining the territorial jurisdiction of each of said magistrates
and matters generally related thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 108(21) of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial
Magistrates System", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
108.
(21). There shall be [five] six trial magistrates, two of whom
shall sit at Hagerstown and receive an annual salary of $3,000.00
each, one of whom shall sit at Hancock and receive an annual salary
of $1,000.00 and one of whom shall sit at Boonsboro and receive an
annual salary of $1,000.00, and one of whom shall sit at Williams-
port and receive an annual salary of $1,000.00 [.] , and one of whom
