AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6 of
Article 38 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957 Edition),
title "Fines and Forfeitures", relating to the disposition of fines
paid for contempt of a Court of Equity of this State.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6 of Article 38 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Fines and Forfeitures", be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
6. All fines paid to the clerk of the court for the purgation of
contempt of a court of equity shall be paid by said clerk at the end
of every six (6) months to the [Treasurer for the use of the State
of Maryland.] county or city , OR BALTIMORE CITY, AS THE
CASE MAY BE, where the offense occurred. or cause of action
originated.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5 (g) of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Elections", sub-title "Supervisors of Elections and Em-
ployees'', creating the position of Assistant Clerk for the Board of
Supervisors of Elections of Wicomico County and fixing the com-
pensation of the Clerk and Assistant Clerk to that Board.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5 (g) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Elections", sub-title "Supervisors of Elections
and Employees", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(g) Salary of clerk of Board and attorney for Board in Wicomico
County.—In Wicomico County the clerk of the Board of Supervisors
