34.

Notwithstanding anything in Sections 31 and 32 of this sub-title
to the contrary, a member of one of such retirement systems on June
1, 1947, who was a member of another such system immediately prior
to entering his present system, or who was in a service subsequently
covered by such a system, may effect such a transfer provided he
deposits the amount of the contributions paid or payable to him
from such other retirement system, if any, prior to the expiration
of three months following June 1, [19553 1959. To qualify under
the terms and conditions of this section, such members shall exhibit
such data and information to the administrative head of the system
to which he has transferred as may be required by the rules and
regulations of said system or the administrative head thereof.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 133

(House Bill 44)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 202 and
203 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edi-
tion), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Operation of Vehicles Upon
Highways", amending the laws concerning the duty of a driver
who strikes an unattended vehicle or who strikes fixtures upon a
highway in order to correct therein a cross-reference to the law
concerning the making of reports of any such accident.

Whereas, In Sections 202 and 203 of Article 66½ of the Code,
which concern respectively, the duty of a driver who strikes an un-
attended vehicle and the duty of a driver who strikes fixtures upon
a highway, there are cross-references to the laws concerning the
reporting of any such accident; and

Whereas, By reason of an error in the original enactment of these
sections the cross-references are incorrect; and

Whereas, It is desirable to change these references in order that
they may be to the right section in the motor vehicle laws; now,
therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 202 and 203 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Opera-
tion of Vehicles Upon Highways", be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
