To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals of Maryland:
I, Claude B. Hellmann, Secretary of State of the State of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 172 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 Edition, DO
HEREBY certify, that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 4, 1958, an Act known as Chapter 810 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of 1957, was submitted to the
voters of Anne Arundel County under provisions of Chapter 810 of
the Acts of 1957, said Act being as follows:
"An Act to add new Section 328A to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title 'Anne Arundel County', sub-title Tire
Companies', said new section to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 328 thereof, providing for an annual tax on real and
personal property for the purpose of providing Volunteer
Firemen Training Facilities and CENTRAL ALARM SYS-
TEM; providing an account for such monies; and further pro-
viding a committee to handle such funds and other duties."
and I DO hereby certify, that at said election 6,702 votes were
cast in favor of adoption of Chapter 810 of the Acts of 1957, and
5,882 votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter 810 of
the Acts of 1957, the said Act has been ratified by the voters of Anne
Arundel County, Maryland.
In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my
name and affixed my official seal at the City of
Annapolis, this 26th day of November, 1958.
