To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals of Maryland:

I, Blanchard Randall, Secretary of State of the State of
Maryland, Do certify from a certified copy of the election returns
from the Town of Oakland, Garrett County Maryland, that an elec-
tion was held in the town of Oakland on March 8, 1937, for the
purpose of voting for or against Chapter 3 of the Acts of 1937 and
394 votes were cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 3 of the
Acts of 1937 and 187 votes were cast against the adoption of the said
Act, therefore a majority of the votes being cast in favor of Chapter
3 of the Acts of 1937 it has, therefore, been ratified by the voters
of Oakland, Garrett County, Maryland.

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and
seal at the City of Annapolis, this 3rd day of Janu-
ary, 1957.
