Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 9 (46) be and the same is hereby added to Article
81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1958 Sup-
plement), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title "What Should Be
Taxed and Where", to follow immediately after Section 9 (45) there-
of, and to read as follows:
9.
(46) Property, real and personal, owned by the Habonim Camp
Association Company, Incorporated, including all taxes assessed after
January 1, 1958.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 25 of
Article 64A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Merit System", providing for the classification and inclusion
in the State Merit System, without examination, of all county
and/or municipal employees of county and/or municipal health
departments in this State, who were so employed on June 30, 1956,
upon application to the State Commissioner of Personnel before
July 1, 1961.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 25 of Article 64A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Merit System", be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
25. Employees of health departments under merit system on or
before July 1, 1961.
All county and/or municipal employees of county and/or municipal
health departments in this State who were so employed on June
30, 1956, and who [may be appointed under the State merit system
on or before July 1, 1961, having been classified by the Commissioner
of Personnel as to proper job classification and having qualified
for the same in a noncompetitive examination to be conducted by
the Commissioner, shall be given credit under the State merit
system], while so employed, apply to the Commissioner of Personnel
for appointment under the State Merit System on or before July 1,
1961, shall be so appointed, and shall be classified in the job classifica-
tion under the State Merit System which is comparable or which
most closely compares with their last job classification as a county
