seeding or planting in or about the premises, of any shrubs, trees,
plants, flowers or nursery products of any kind or description and
the grading, filling and landscaping thereon. However, no building

set forth above, if it shall be proved by evidence that the

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 735
(House Bill 129)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 701A, 701B, 701C, 701D, 701E of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County (1953 Edi-
tion), as amended by Chapter 685 of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland 1957, being Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-
title "George Washington Memorial Parkway" and to enact in
place thereof nine (9) new sections to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County, of 1953 being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "George Washington Memorial Parkway" and
to be numbered Sections 464 D (1) to 464 D (9), inclusive, said
new sections granting to the County Commissioners for Prince
George's County the power and authority to enter into agreements
with the United States, acting through the National Capital Plan-
ning Commission, for financing the acquisition of lands to be used
for a portion of the George Washington Memorial Parkway in
Prince George's County, Maryland, said agreements including the
power to levy ad valorem taxes to provide funds necessary to satis-
fy all obligations, not in excess of One Million Dollars ($1,000-
000.00) in the aggregate, which may be incurred in such fi-
nancing; and the said County Commissioners for Prince George's
County are authorized and empowered from time to time to bor-
row not exceeding One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) for the
purpose of providing funds to satisfy obligations under the above
agreements in acquiring the land necessary for that portion of
the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Prince George's
County; to effect such borrowing by the issuance and sale to the
highest bidder or bidders at public sale of its general obligation,
