CHAPTER 695

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1 of Article
66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title
"Natural Resources", sub-title "Board of Natural Resources", so
as to expand the membership and composition of the Board of
Natural Resources to include the Water Pollution Control Com-
mission.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 1 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-heading "Board of
Natural Resources", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
1. There is hereby created a State Agency to be known as The
Board of Natural Resources to coordinate the activities of the several
State Departments that are concerned with the conservation of natu-
ral resources. The Board shall be composed of the Chairman of the
Commission of Tidewater Fisheries, the Director of the Game and In-
land Fish Commission, the Director of the Department of State For-
ests and Parks, the Director of the Department of Geology, Mines and
Water Resources, the Director of the Department of Research and
Education, the Director of the Water Pollution Control Commission,
and eight other members to be appointed by the Governor, two from
the tidewater counties of the Eastern Shore, two from the tidewater
counties of the Western Shore, and four from the State at large.
Two of those appointed from the tidewater counties shall have prac-
tical knowledge of tidewater fisheries and shall have no financial
interest in the fishing industry. The Chairman of the Commission
of Tidewater Fisheries shall serve as Chairman of the Board and for
his services as Chairman he shall receive such compensation as shall
be provided in the State Budget.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

AN ACT to add new Section 30A to Article 66 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Mortgages", sub-title "In Gen-
eral", to follow immediately after Section 30 thereof, providing for
method of obtaining Court release of mortgage or deed of trust
which is unreleased of record more than twenty years after matur-
ity date in Charles County, and matters generally related thereto.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 30A be and it is hereby added to Article 66 of
