AN ACT to add new Section 102A to Article 66C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-
title "Soil Conservation Districts", to follow immediately after
Section 102 thereof, to be and become a part of the Maryland Soil
Conservation District Law, relating to receipt and expenditure of
certain federal funds,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 102A be and it is hereby added to Article 66C of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title ""Natural
Resources", sub-title ''Soil Coniservation Districts", to follow imme-
diately after Section 102 thereof and to read as follows:
102A.
The State Soil Conservation Committee is hereby authorized and
empowered to accept any and all allotments of federal funds and
commodities granted for purposes of study and control of shore
erosion, and to manage and dispose of same in whatever manner may
be required by federal law, except any grants made pursuant to
Sec. 7 of the "Soil Conservation and Domestic Allotment Act"
(Public No. 46, 74th Congress, approved 27 April, 1935, as amended
by Public No. 461, 74th Congress, approved February 29th, 1936).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1960.
