the public schools of this State, and relating generally to such drills
and to the duties of certain school officials in connection therewith.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 67A of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1959 Supplement), title "Public Education", sub-title "Chapter 5,
County Board of Education", be and it is hereby repealed, and that
a new Section 67A be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand
in the place of the section so repealed, and to read as follows:

67A. The State Superintendent of Schools shall require the super-
intendent of schools of every county and Baltimore City to conduct
at least ten (10) times during every school year, and at least once
every 60 days at every public school in the counties or Baltimore City
under the jurisdiction of the superintendent thereof, a fire drill.
Adequate records of such drills shall be kept and copies forwarded
to the county or city superintendent of schools.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1960.

CHAPTER 47
(House Bill 62)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 12 of
Article 66A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Ed. ),
title "Moving Pictures", to allow members of the Board of Motion
Picture Censors all necessary expenses incurred in attending
meetings of the Board and in discharging the other duties of
their office.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 12 of Article 66A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Ed. ), title "Moving Pictures", be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

12. The Board shall provide adequate offices and rooms in which
properly to conduct the work and affairs of the Board in the City
of Baltimore and the State of Maryland, and the expenses thereof,
as well as any other expenses incurred by said Board in the neces-
sary discharge of its duties, and also the salaries of the members
of the Board, each of whom shall receive such compensation as shall
be provided in the State budget, and each member of the Board shall
be reimbursed for all proper expenses, -
ACTUAL AND NECES-
SARY EXPENSES INCURRED IN FURTHERANCE OF THE
BOARD'S BUSINESS WITHIN THE STATE OF MARYLAND,
such as mileage, at the rate established by the Board of Public Works,
