ADVISORY ONLY AND SHALL NOT BIND SAID BOARDS IN
ANY ACTION WHICH THEY SHALL TAKE.

SEC. 10. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS
ACT IS HEREBY DECLARED TO BE AN EMERGENCY MEAS-
URE AND NECESSARY FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESERVA-
TION OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY AND HAVING
BEEN PASSED BY A YEA AND NAY VOTE, SUPPORTED BY
THREE-FIFTHS OF ALL THE MEMBERS ELECTED TO EACH
OF THE TWO HOUSES OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, THE SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM THE
DATE OF ITS PASSAGE.

(Senate Bill 577)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-section (16)
of Section 100 of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1956 Cumulative Supplement), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-
title "Trial Magistrates System", sub-heading "Number and Sal-
aries ..... Prince George's County"; to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments, Sections 921, 922, 923 (b), 924, 926, 927, 936(f) and
938 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(Everstine 1953 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-title
"Juvenile Court", relating generally to the appointment, qualifica-
tion, compensation, jurisdiction, powers and duties of a Trial
Magistrate for Juvenile Causes in Prince George's County and
generally providing for the treatment and disposition of cases in
Prince George's County concerning juveniles and juvenile causes
under certain conditions and providing for the appointment and
functions of personnel for the Juvenile Court for Prince George's
County and relating to appeals from Orders of the Juvenile Court
and release of a child pending an Appeal.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That sub-section (16) of Section 100 of Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1956 Cumulative Supplement), title "Justices of
the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates System", sub-heading "Num-
ber and Salaries ..... Prince George's County", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

100. Number and salaries.

(16) Prince George's County.—There shall be two full-time mag-
istrates, each of whom shall receive an annual salary of $7,500.00,
