upon conviction be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined
not more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00).
The trial magistrate shall have original jurisdiction to hear any
violation of this sub-section, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
114. (b)-2. No licensee, proprietor, or operator of any estab-
lishment dispensing alcoholic beverages shall permit the consumption
or possession of any alcoholic beverages by a person under the age
of twenty-one years upon said premises no matter by whom such
alcoholic beverages shall have been purchased or from whom ob-
tained. Anyone violating this sub-section shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not more than Fifty
Dollars ($30.00) in addition to any other penalties as provided un-
der this Article.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to
issue certificates of indebtedness of said corporation to an amount
not exceeding Ten Million Dollars ($10,000,000.00), the proceeds
of the same to be expended for the acquisition, by purchase, lease,
condemnation or any other legal means, of land or property, or
any right, interest, franichise, easement or privilege therein, in
the City of Baltimore, for development or redevelopment, includ-
ing, but not limited to, the comprehensive renovation or rehabilita-
tion thereof or for the purpose of eliminating unhealthful, unsani-
tary or unsafe conditions, lessening density, eliminating obsolete
or other uses detrimental to the public welfare, or otherwise for
removing or preventing the spread of blight or deterioration, and
for the payment of any and all costs and expenses incurred in con-
nection with or incidental to, the acquisition of said fend or prop-
erty, including the costs and expenses of relocating persons or
other legal entities displaced by the acquisition of said land or
property or rights or interests therein, and for the demolition,
removal, relocation, renovation or alteration of land, building's,
streets, highways, alleys, utilities or services, and other structures
or improvements, and for the construction, reconstruction, instal-
lation, relocation or repair of streets, highways, alleys, utilities or
services, in connection with the development or redevelopment off
land or property, including the comprehensive renovation or re-
habilitation thereof, as aforesaid; and to authorize said municipal-
ity to submit an ordinance or ordinances for said purpose to the
legal voters of Baltimore City.
