13.04.09.03 Supplementation to Teacher Pensions

To continue emergency supplement to existing
pension for Retired School Teachers in the
Counties and Baltimore City.

General Fund Appropriation........................ 610,584

STATE AIDED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

13.04.10.01 Maryland School for the Blind. Appropriations
are to be disbursed by the Treasury Department
on transmittal from the State Department of
Education, in accordance with regulations pre-
scribed by said State Department of Education.
Any part of this appropriation, by consent of
both parties, may be used for matching purposes
in the event Federal Funds are available. This
appropriation is contingent upon the School's
complying with the provisions of Chapter 86, of
the Acts of 1949.

General Fund Appropriation............................ 366,207

13.04.10.02 Maryland Workshop for the Blind. Appropria-
tions are to be disbursed by the Treasury De-
partment on transmittal from the State Depart-
ment of Education, in accordance with regula-
tions prescribed by the said State Department of
Education. Any part of this appropriation, by
consent of both parties, may be used for match-
ing purposes in the event Federal Funds are
available. This appropriation is contingent upon
the Workshop's complying with the provisions
of Chapter 86 of the Acts of 1949.
General Fund Appropriation.............................. 152,134

13.04.10.03   Maryland Academy of Sciences, This appropria-

tion is contingent upon the Academy's comply-
ing with the provisions of Chapter 86 of the
Acts of 1949.

General Fund Appropriation..............................           3,000

13.04.10.04   Charlotte Hall School. In return for the allow-

ance, Charlotte Hall School shall furnish 29
scholarships, as provided by Article 77, Sec-
tions 266 and 267 of the 1951 Annotated Code,
including tuition, board and room rent. This
appropriation is contingent upon the School's,
complying with the provisions of Chapter 86 of
the Acts of 1949.

General Fund Appropriation..............................         30,000

13.04.10.05   Johns Hopkins University. In return for the al-

lowance, Johns Hopkins University shall furnish
150 scholarships, as provided by Article 77, Sec-
tion 271 of the 1951 Annotated Code. This ap-
