FIRM OR CORPORATION ACTUALLY SUB-DIVIDES ANY
TRACT OF LAND IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY INTO LOTS
OF 5 ACRES OR LESS, SUCH PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORA-
TION SHALL, IN THE MANNER PROVIDED IN THIS SUB-
HEADING, FILE FOR RECORDING IN THE OFFICE OF THE
CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT A PLAT OF 'SUCH SUB-
DIVISION, APPROVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COM-
MISSION OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, BEFORE BUILDING
UPON, SELLING OR AGREEING TO SELL, OR LEASING OR
AGREEING TO LEASE, ANY OF SAID LOTS OR THE IM-
PROVEMENTS THEREON. ANY PERSON, AND THE OFFI-
CERS, AGENTS, OR MEMBERS OF ANY FIRM OR CORPORA-
TION FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THIS SECTION shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not less
than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) or more than One Hundred Dol-
lars ($100.00).

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 448
(Senate Bill 110)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 3 and 4 of Article 30 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Deaf, Dumb and Blind";
to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 13, 15, 21 and
23 of said Article 30, sub-title "Public Assistance to the Needy
Blind"; to add Section 15A to said Article and sub-title, to follow
immediately after Section 15 thereof; and to repeal Section 16 of
said Article and sub-title and to enact a new Section 16 in lieu
thereof, to stand in the place of the section so repealed, revising
generally the laws of this State concerning blind persons.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 3 and 4 of Article 30 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1991 Edition), title "Deaf, Dumb and Blind", be and they are
hereby repealed; that Sections 13, 15, 21 and 23 of said Article 30,
sub-title "Public Assistance to the Needy Blind", be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments; that Section 15A
be and it is hereby added to said Article and sub-title, to follow
immediately after Section 15 thereof; that Section 16 of said Article
and sub-title be and it is hereby repealed and that a new Section 16
be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of
the section so repealed, and all to read as follows:

13. (Duties of State Department.) The State Department shall:

(a) Supervise the administration of assistance to the needy blind
under this Article by the County (Boards;
