tions of the Annotated Code of Maryland to other proper sections
of said Code; to enlarge the right of appeal from Justices of the
Peace and Trial Magistrates in certain cases; to clarify and modi-
fy the statutory provisions dealing with the right of appeal in
civil and criminal cases; TO PROVIDE THAT THE COSTS OF
ALL CRIMINAL AND HABEAS CORPUS APPEALS, INCLUD-
ING PRINTING OF THE STATE'S BRIEFS AND RECORD EX-
TRACTS, BE PAID BY THE POLITICAL SUBDIVISION IN
WHICH SUCH CASE ORIGINATED, REQUIRING THE
STATE'S ATTORNEY OF SUCH POLITICAL SUBDIVISION
TO RECOVER SUCH COSTS FROM DELINQUENT DEFEND-
ANTS AND MAKING SUCH PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO
SUCH COSTS PREVIOUSLY INCURRED; and relating gener-
ally to the practice and procedure in the courts of Maryland.
