subdivision thereof, the terms "Department of Geology, Mines and
Water Resources" or "Department", as the case may be, shall be
substituted therefor.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 318

(Senate Bill 325)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 751C
and 751D of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title "Trailer
Parks", said sections having been enacted by Chapter 685 of the
Acts of 1953; to add new Sections 751C-1 and 751C-2 to follow
immediately after Section 751C thereof, raising the license fee for
trailer coach parks and pertaining generally to licenses, taxes and
fees of trailer coach parks in Frederick County and correcting mis-
takes therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 7510 and 751D of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County",
sub-title "Trailer Parks", said sections having been enacted by Chap-
ter 685 of the Acts of 1953, be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments; and that sew Sections 751-C-l and
751C-2 be and they are hereby added to said Article, to follow imme-
diately after Section 751C thereof, and all to read as follows:

751C. (License Fees.)

The annual license fee for each trailer coach park shall be $25.00
for each block of ten trailer coach spaces or fraction thereof, which
is actually occupied provided that the maximum license fee for one
trailer coach park shall not be more than [$250.00] ($500.00). Said
license fees shall be payable to the Treasurer of Frederick County
[Board of Health], for the use of the general fund of the county.

In addition to the annual license fee, there shall be a tax of [fifty
cents] one dollar per week or fraction thereof in excess of seventy-
two hours, payable by the proprietor of the trailer coach park, for
each trailer coach occupying space therein. This tax shall be credited
to the General Fund, Frederick County, Maryland, and the return
shall be filed and the tax paid quarterly. The fee for the transfer of
a license as provided in this Act shall be $5.00.

751C-1. Every person, firm or corporation operating any trailer
coach park shall issue a receipt for the aforesaid weekly tax to each
