"Queen Anne's County", sub-title "County Commissioners", to im-
mediately precede Section 192 thereof, said Section 192 having been
enacted by Chapter 304 of the Acts of 1955 and Sections 190 and
191 having been repealed by Chapter 303 of the Acts of 1955,
relating to the Attorney to the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 190 to 191B, inclusive, be and they are hereby
added to Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", to immediately precede Section 192 thereof, said Section
192 having been enacted by Chapter 304 of the Acts of 1955 and
Sections 190 and 191 having been repealed by Chapter 303 of the
Acts of 1955, and all to read as follows:
Attorney
190. (Appointment) An Attorney shall be appointed by the
County Commissioners annually for a term of one year and shall be
subject to removal by the County Commissioners at will.
191. (Qualifications) The said Attorney shall be a qualified voter
of the County and a member of good standing of the Queen Anne's
County Bar.
191A. (Salary) He shall receive such compensation as may be
determined by the County Commissioners and any expenses incurred
in the performance of his duties.
191B. (Duties) The said Attorney shall be the general legal ad-
visor of the County Commissioners. He shall represent the County
Commissioners in all legal matters and in all suits, actions and pro-
ceedings of any kind to which the County Commissioners shall be
a party before any Court, board, regulatory body, commission or
governmental authority in the State of Maryland.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
