title "Courts", sub-title "Juvenile Causes", relating to the schools
and institutions into the custody of which a child may be placed in
the juvenile courts of the several counties of this State, including
but not limited to one of the several training schools or any other
institution under the direction and control of the State Department
of Public Welfare.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 61 of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Courts", sub-title "Juvenile Causes", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as
follows:

61. Whenever the Judge, under Section 60, places a child in the
custody of its parents, or either of them, or in the custody of someone
other than the child's parents or in the custody of an agency or in-
stitution, including but not limited to one of the several training
schools or any other institution under the direction and control of the
State Department of Public Welfare,
the Judge may, after giving the
parent or parents a reasonable opportunity to be heard, order that
such parent or parents shall pay in such manner as the court may
direct, such sum as will cover in whole or in part the support of such
child and if such parent or parents shall wilfully fail or refuse to
pay such sum, the Judge may proceed against such parent or parents
as for contempt.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

Approved March 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 125

(House Bill 234)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-section (a)
of Section 180 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Birds, Game
and Inland Water Fish", sub-heading "Raising Game in Captivity",
providing that metal tags shall be attached to game raised for sale
before it is removed from the premises on which it was raised.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (a) of Section 180 of Article 66C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Natural Resources", sub-
title "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-heading "Raising
Game in Captivity", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

180. (a) Before any licensee shall offer any game raised on his
property for sale, said game shall first be offered to the Director of
