order to clarify its meaning and intent.
Whereas, In the last amendment to Section 131 (g) of Article
66C of the Code, the word "animals" was inadvertently omitted where
there obviously was meant to be a reference to the phrase "fur-
bearing animals", and
Whereas, It is desirable that this section be amended in order to
clarify its meaning and intent; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 131 (g) of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1956 Supplement), title "Natural Resources", sub-title "Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish", sub-heading "Upland and Migratory
Game Birds and Game Animals", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
131.
(g) Hunting from vehicles; shooting on, from or across high-
way.—It shall be unlawful to shoot or shoot at any game bird, game
animal, fur-bearing animal, wild bird or wild quadruped from an
automobile or other vehicle or have in possession in or on an auto-
mobile or other vehicle, a loaded shotgun or rifle containing any
ammunition in the magazine or chamber. It shall be unlawful to
shoot at any game bird, game animal, fur-bearing animal, wild bird
or wild quadruped on, from or across any paved public highway or
the shoulder of said highway. It shall be unlawful to shoot from any
public highway in Kent County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

(House Bill 105)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 238 of
Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Insurance", sub-title "Reciprocal Exchanges and Inter-
Insurers", correcting erroneous language contained therein and
providing that said section shall read as in its last amendment
in Section 138 of Chapter 708 of the Acts of 1927.
Whereas, What is now Section 238 of Article 48A of the Code
was last amended in Section 138 of Chapter 708 of the Acts of 1927;
and
Explanation: Italics indicate new matter added to existing law.
