Sec. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

AN ACT to repeal Sections 42 and 49 of Article 101 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Workmen's Com-
pensation", sub-title "Claims and Compensation; Benefits"; to re-
peal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6, 7 (a), 15 (3) (b),
18 (e) and (f), 35 (1) (a) and (c), 35 (2), 36 (b), 37, 50, 57,
58, 59, 65 and 66 of said Article of the Code (1951 Edition and
1956 Supplement), sub-titles "State Industrial Accident Commis-
sion", "Suit—Methods of Insurance", "Corporate Insurance",
"Claims and Compensation; Benefits", "Appeals", "Miscellaneous";
to repeal Sections 13, 38, 39, 48 and 53 of said Article of the Code
(1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement), sub-titles "State Industrial
Accident Commission", "Claims and Compensation" and to enact
in lieu thereof five new sections to stand in the place and stead
thereof and to be known as Sections 13, 38, 39, 48 and 53; to add
new paragraphs (i), (j), and (k) to Section 35 (8) of said Article
of the Code (1951 Edition) sub-title "Claims and Compensation;
Benefits" to follow immediately after paragraph (h) thereof; all
relating to a general revision of the Workmen's Compensation Law
in Maryland.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 42 and 49 of Article 101 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Workmen's Compensation", sub-
title "Claims and Compensation; Benefits", be and they are hereby
repealed; and Sections 6, 7 (a), 15 (3) (b), 18 (e) and (f), 35 (1)
(a) and (c), 35 (2), (36) (b), 37, 50, 57, 58, 59, 65 and 66 of said
Article of the Code (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement), sub-titles
"State Industrial Accident Commission", "Suit—Methods of Insur-
ance", "Corporate Insurance", "Claims and Compensation; Benefits",
"Appeals", "Miscellaneous", be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments; and Sections 13, 38, 39, 48 and 53 of
said Article of the Code (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement), sub-
titles "State Industrial Accident Commission", "Claims and Com-
pensation", be and they are hereby repealed, and new Sections 13,
38, 39, 48 and 53, be and they are hereby enacted in lieu thereof to
stand in the place and stead of the sections so repealed; and new para-
graphs (i) (j), and (k) be and they are hereby added to Section 35
(8) of said Article of the Code (1951 Edition), sub-title "Claims and
Compensation; Benefits" to follow immediately after paragraph (h)
thereof, and all to read as follows:
