Corporation known as Trustees of the Female Orphan Society of
the City of Annapolis, and to provide for the forfeiture of its
charter and revocation of all of its corporate powers and to direct
the division and distribution by gift of the property, assets and
holdings of the said body corporate.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That Chapter 468 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of the year 1931 be and the same is hereby repealed and the body
corporate and politic therein established by the name of the Trustees
of the Female Orphan Society of the City of Annapolis is hereby
abolished, terminated and discontinued and its corporate charter and
all of its corporate powers are hereby declared to be forfeited and
revoked.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That there being existing vacan-
cies in the offices of the Trustees and other offices of the said body
corporate, other than in the Office of its Treasurer, the said Treas-
urer, James G. Woodward, shall, and is hereby required and directed
to file with The State Tax Commission of Maryland within 30 days
following the final passage EFFECTIVE DATE of this Act, a sworn
written statement or exhibit under the name and oath of the said
Treasurer, setting forth in full all of the assets, properties and hold-
ings of every kind and description of the said corporation having the
name of Trustees of the Female Orphan Society of the City of
Annapolis which are known by the said Treasurer to be owned or
held by the said corporation.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That after the payment of all
the necessary costs or expenses legally incurred in the dissolution of
the said body corporate, having the name of Trustees of the Female
Orphan Society of the City of Annapolis, as well as payment of the
necessary costs and expenses, if any, legally incurred in distributing
its assets, properties and holdings as hereinafter provided for, in-
cluding the payment of all taxes which may be due from the said body
corporate, as well as the payment of any charges properly imposed
upon it by the State Tax Commission of Maryland, then one-half, in
value, of the remaining property, assets and holdings of every kind
and description, shall be transferred, granted and given absolutely
to the Public Library Association of Annapolis and Anne Arundel
County, Inc., and the other half, in value, of its property, assets and
holdings of every description shall be transferred, granted and given
to the St. Anne's and Locust Grove Cemetery Association.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That to effect and consummate

the gifts to the two donees, as above directed, the transfer, distribu-
tion and gift to each may be made entirely in cash, entirely in prop-
erty and credits, or partly in property and credits and partly in cash,
or partly in cash and partly in property, in whichever manner ap-
pears to be the most advantageous or convenient. To effectuate and
carry out the above-mentioned transfers and gifts the said Treas-
urer is hereby authorized and empowered to:

(a) Sell at either public or private sale or exchange any part or
parts of any real or personal property belonging to the said body
corporate upon such terms and for such considerations as the said
