(c)   Write-in Ballots in General Elections. Nothing in this Article
contained shall prevent any voter in any general election from writing
on his ballot and marking in the proper place the name of any person
other than those already printed for whom he may desire to vote for
any office. Such votes shall be counted the same as if the name of
such person had been printed upon the ballot and marked by the voter.

(d)   Date for Printing. Ballots shall be printed and in possession
of the Supervisors of Elections at least ten days before election day.
A correct list of the names of the candidates thereon with the desig-
nation of the offices for which the persons named thereon are candi-
dates shall be furnished on demand by the Supervisors to the candi-
dates or their authorized agents.

(e)   Errors. If any mistake be discovered, it shall be the duty of
the Supervisors to correct the same without delay. If the Super-
visors shall decline or refuse to make correction, then upon the sworn
petition of any qualified voter who would have the right to vote for
a candidate at the approaching election, the Circuit Court for any
county or one of the Judges of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City
may, by order, require the Supervisors of Elections to correct the
error or to show cause why such error should not be corrected.

94. Form and Arrangement of Ballots. (a) Names Required. The
form and arrangement of the ballots shall be as follows: All ballots
shall contain the name of every candidate whose nomination for any
office specified in the ballot has been certified to and filed according
to the provisions of this Article, and not withdrawn in accordance
therewith; except that the names of the candidates for the office of
Electors of President and Vice-President of the United States shall
not be printed on the ballot, but in lieu thereof the names of the
candidates of each political party for the office of President and
Vice-President shall be printed thereon.

(b)   Alphabetical. The names of candidates for every office shall
be arranged alphabetically according to their surnames, under the
designation of the office; except that the names of the candidates of
each political party for President and Vice-President shall be grouped
together, with the party name at the right of the surnames under the
designation "Electors for President and Vice-President", and ar-
ranged alphabetically in the order of the surnames of the Presi-
dential candidates.

(c) Columnar Listing. All candidates for office shall as far as possi-
ble be placed in one column; but when the names to be printed upon
the ticket are over thirty-six, another column shall
MAY be added in
which names shall be printed. When two or more columns are used
the same number of names, so far as possible, shall be printed in each
column. The initial letters of the given or Christian names of the
several candidates in each column shall be printed directly beneath
each other in a vertical line, and the initial letter of the respective
party designations of said several candidates shall be printed directly
beneath each other in a vertical line.

(d)   Residence. To the name of each candidate for State office,
U. S. Senate or candidate for House of Representatives shall be added
the name of the county or city in which that candidate resides. Bal-
lots shall be so printed as to give each voter a clear opportunity to
