in the raising, growing and producing of farm products on a farm
of not less than three (3) acres in area, and who is not hauling farm
products previously acquired by him for resale or hauling same for
others for hire.

(3) The Department shall pay to the County or Baltimore City in
which the owner of a Class F motor vehicle resides, the sum of
$30.00, and if the owner also resides within the corporate limits
of any municipality or special taxing area in a county, the munic-
ipality or special taxing area shall be entitled to receive from the
county the sum of $15.00. In the case of farm tractors, the payment
to the county shall be $2.00 and if the owner also resides in a
municipality or special taxing area, such municipality or taxing
area shall be entitled to receive from the county the sum of $1.00.

(h) (Class G. Pneumatic Tires.) (1) Registration fees for trailers
and semi-trailers shall be based upon gross shipping chassis weight
as certified by the manufacturer, with gross weight limits for the
vehicle and load, as follows:

(2) Provided further that in addition to the aforegoing registrar-
tions, the department shall issue registrations to be known as "semi-
dump trailer service registration" providing for a gross weight of
vehicle and load of not less than Forty-five Thousand (45,000)
pounds nor more than Fifty-five Thousand (55,000) pounds, upon
application therefor and certification by the applicant that the
vehicle for which registration is sought is a semi-dump trailer for
the transportation of loose material in bulk. The department may so
issue license tags hereafter issued of this class as to distinguish their
character and shall in any event be required to stamp registration
cards issued pursuant to such application with the words "semi-
dump trailer service" to indicate the specific character thereof. An
applicant for semi-dump trailer service registration plates author-
ized herein shall pay therefor on each vehicle at the rate of Ten
($10.00) Dollars per thousand pounds of gross weight of vehicle and
load and in no event less than Four Hundred and Sixty ($460.00)
Dollars per vehicle. Tractors in combination with vehicles so regis-
tered shall at no time be operated at a rate of speed in excess of
thirty-five (35) miles per hour and the fixing of this maximum limi-
tation shall not be deemed to enlarge or increase any lesser speed
limits fixed by any other law, ordinance, rule or regulation. The
combination of a registered Class F tractor and a vehicle having a
semi-dump trailer service registration when operated as a unit for
the transportation of loose materials in bulk within a radius of not
more than forty (40) miles of the point of pick-up and delivery shall
not be subject to any restrictions of this Article pertaining to weight
of vehicle, weight of vehicle and load however determined and/or
axle loads, except only that at all times such semi-dump trailer shall
